A northwestern cyclone will influence the weather in Kazakhstan over the next three days, according to infohub.kz.
Forecasters at Kazhydromet warn that the cyclone, fueled by cold air, and the collision of air masses will bring rain and thunderstorms to the country. In the north and center, downpours are expected to be particularly heavy, with hail possible.
Along with precipitation, a gradual drop in air temperature is forecast. In northern regions, daytime temperatures will fall to +22…+27°C, while in the east, the heat will ease from +33…+38°C to a comfortable +27…+32°C.
It is worth recalling that August in Kazakhstan will be contrasting: while the south and west may see heat up to +44°C, the north will see heat replaced by rain, thunderstorms, and even frost. In the second and third decades of the month, nighttime temperatures in northern areas could drop to +3°C, with daytime highs of +25…+35°C. In the west and south, nights will range from +17…+27°C to +13…+18°C, and days from +32…+42°C to +25…+35°C.
