In one of the military units of the Konaev garrison, an emergency occurred on August 3, 2026: a conscript soldier sustained injuries after falling from a fourth-floor window, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the injured soldier was promptly taken to a medical facility where he is receiving the necessary specialized care. His condition is under constant medical supervision.
The military department noted that prior to the incident, the soldier had not complained about service conditions. The day before, he had met with his parents who had visited the unit, but no complaints or statements were made by them either.
In connection with this fact, the Military Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has opened a criminal case, and investigative actions are underway. The Ministry of Defense has ordered an internal inspection and established a special commission. The situation is under special control.
The Republican public association "Committee of Soldiers' Mothers 'Hearts of Mothers'" also responded to the incident. The organization confirmed that in military unit 32363 in the city of Konaev, a conscript soldier sustained severe injuries from a fall from the fourth floor.
A representative of the committee immediately traveled to the scene, visited the injured soldier in the hospital, and spoke with his father and grandmother, the unit's command, and fellow soldiers who were on duty with him. The committee emphasized that the soldier's life and health are of utmost importance and wished him a speedy recovery.
The organization urged the public not to spread rumors or unverified information until the investigation is complete, noting that every circumstance must be thoroughly established by competent authorities. The committee will continue to monitor the situation.
