The organization of the two-day celebration of Arsen Tomsky, founder of the international service inDrive, and Kamila Lukpanova in Istanbul cost approximately 470 million tenge. The event on the shores of the Bosphorus gathered about 250 guests, reports the website infohub.kz.
According to Turkish media, total expenses amounted to 50 million Turkish lira (about 470 million tenge). Of this, approximately 30 million lira (about 281 million tenge) went solely to entertainment. About 250 people from 15 countries attended the celebration, including well-known Kazakhstani businessmen and billionaires. The event lasted two days and consisted of three different occasions.
Among them were the wedding ceremony and a large after-party. Guests also went on a cruise along the Bosphorus.
The host of the evening was Ivan Urgant, and the main musical star was Valery Meladze, under whose songs the bride danced actively. In the summer, the couple held wedding rituals in Uralsk, Lukpanova's hometown. After the Istanbul celebration, Tomsky joked on social media that he had now officially become a son-in-law of the Kazakh people.
The newlyweds also changed outfits several times during the evening.
The wedding preparation took about two and a half months. The couple chose Istanbul not by chance. According to them, it is one of their favorite travel destinations.
"We wanted today to be a celebration not only for us but also for everyone present," said Tomsky and Lukpanova.
