In the capital of Kazakhstan, a construction crane has collapsed once again. The incident occurred at a residential complex under construction in the Nura district, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Astana Police Department, a criminal case has been opened regarding the crane collapse. As a result, one person died at the scene, and two injured were taken to the hospital, where they are receiving necessary medical care.
The city's public health department specified that the tower crane fell on Kurgalzhinskoye Highway, near a building under construction next to school No. 100. Ambulance crews arrived at the scene. Two people were taken to the National Coordination Center for Emergency Medicine with injuries. One victim is in serious condition, while the other is receiving necessary medical care at the inpatient level.
An investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
It is worth recalling that on August 27, a construction crane also collapsed during construction work, resulting in the death of the crane operator.
