In September, Kazakhstan will host the CSTO exercise 'Rubezh-2026', during which military equipment will move along roads in three regions. The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan has addressed citizens with clarifications, reports infohub.kz.
As noted by the defense ministry, from September 12 to 19, the joint CSTO exercise 'Rubezh-2026' is planned at the 'Koktal' training ground in the Zhetysu region. In this regard, from September 7 to 30, planned movement of military equipment and personnel will take place in the Almaty and Zhambyl regions, as well as in the Zhetysu region.
The exercises include field training sessions, during which issues of troop regrouping, unit command, and accomplishment of assigned tasks will be practiced. It is emphasized that such maneuvers are conducted on a regular basis and alternately on the territories of CSTO member states.
'We ask citizens, media representatives, and social media users not to spread unverified information and to rely on data published in official sources. We remind that dissemination of deliberately false information, as well as publication of unreliable data, entails liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan,' the ministry added.
