In Pavlodar, police officers identified traffic violators who performed dangerous stunts on the Nurly Zhol bridge to gain popularity on social media. A video of the incident was published on the Instagram account of the city's police department, reports infohub.kz.
According to the statement, drivers and passengers of cars made reckless maneuvers, leaning out of windows and sunroofs right on the roadway. All participants were identified and held accountable for gross traffic violations, and their vehicles were impounded.
The police emphasize that a dangerous trend is gaining popularity, where drivers and passengers, trying to attract attention and 'earn hype,' violate traffic rules.
'Drivers and passengers must remember that the road is not a place for dangerous entertainment. Such actions pose a threat not only to the violators themselves but also to other road users,' said Zhandos Baikenov, commander of the patrol police battalion of Pavlodar city police department.
