Olympic boxing champion Daniyar Yeleussinov, who previously openly admitted to his alcohol addiction, has announced that he has started treatment. The athlete shared this in stories on his Instagram page, according to infohub.kz.
"I have now started treatment, not just an IV drip, but a comprehensive one. I think everything will be fine with me," NUR.KZ quoted him as saying.
Yeleussinov also asked his fans not to pay attention to some of his statements. "Don't pay attention if I offended anyone or said some loud words — it happens to everyone. I have this bad habit of going live. But I think it won't happen again. I am serious about getting rid of this ailment. I will be back in action soon — the old Daniyar, cheerful and happy, will return," the Olympic champion concluded.
Recall that in early July, Daniyar Yeleussinov was arrested and stripped of his driver's license. In addition, the capital's police showed how his detention after a traffic accident took place. After these events, the Olympic boxing champion openly admitted his alcohol problems for the first time and addressed his fans.
