Footage from the wedding of Kazakh actors Dariga Badykova and Olzhas Abai has surfaced on social media. Kursiv LifeStyle has learned how the celebration unfolded, according to infohub.kz.
The event was attended by many Kazakh celebrities: Yerke Yesmakhan and RaiM, Aikyn and Zhuldyz Omirgali, Zhanbolat Yerbatyrov and Zhazira Bairbekova, Moldir Mukanova, Lyailya Sultankyzy, and other stars.
In their Instagram stories, guests shared a touching song the groom performed for the bride. In the comments, users rejoiced for the couple and wished them many years of happiness.
"Dariga is simply glowing. May Allah multiply their happiness! There are few men capable of igniting a fire in a woman's eyes, and Dariga's fire is burning bright. She used to seem masculine, but now her femininity shines through. No matter the age, absolutely all women deserve to be happy!" one commenter wrote.
Recall that Badykova and Abai starred together in the films "Ystyq Uya" and "Taptym-au Seni." When the actress decided to divorce her first husband, actor Darkhan Musayev, in 2025, he accused her of infidelity. According to him, the atmosphere in the family changed for the worse after the filming of "Taptym-au Seni" in 2023. Both Dariga and her co-star denied any relationship at the time: Abai called it madness to look at a married woman.
Later, the actress admitted that she had to support her ex-husband, and their marriage had fallen apart long before the actual divorce.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Badykova had filed a police complaint against her ex-husband. She accused him of blackmail.
