In 2025, the Dent-Lux dental clinic chain posted a net profit of 257.7 million tenge, down 28% from 356.3 million tenge a year earlier. The company's revenue also fell to 4.2 billion tenge from 4.8 billion tenge, according to infohub.kz.
As before, dental services brought in the bulk of income – 3 billion tenge (compared to 3.8 billion in 2024), while medical services contributed another 1.3 billion tenge (up from 1.1 billion). Dent-Lux's retained earnings at the end of 2025 stood at 3.13 billion tenge.
Dent-Lux is registered in Almaty, but its financial statements indicate branches in Astana, Uralsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kokshetau, and Atyrau. For instance, in Astana alone, the company operates four clinics: on Abai Avenue, in the 4th microdistrict, and two on Saraishyk Street.
Dent-Lux has a wholly-owned subsidiary in Almaty, Medical Park, which provides medical services to the public. The group also leases out buildings and land in the Almaly district of Almaty.
In November 2022, shareholders decided to buy back a portion of the company's outstanding shares – a total of 25,300 shares (3.79%) were repurchased for 357.4 million tenge.
As of the time of writing, 100% of Dent-Lux shares are owned by private company DL Medical Ltd., whose co-owners are Murat Abdrakhmanov and Svetlana Abdrakhmanova.
Murat Abdrakhmanov ranked 22nd on Forbes' list of Kazakhstan's most influential businessmen in 2022 and 49th in 2011, but has never appeared on the list of the country's richest people. He is a venture investor with projects in Kazakhstan and abroad, having invested in companies such as Chocofamily, HR Messenger, UvU, Easytap, and others.
Media reports indicate that, for example, Murat Abdrakhmanov invested $1 million in the Choco startup in 2016 and exited in 2023 when Chocofamily Holding announced the sale of Aviata and Chocotravel services to Freedom Holding Corp. Abdrakhmanov noted that he left the project having multiplied his initial investment several times over.
According to Adata.kz, Murat Abdrakhmanov owns a number of companies and organizations, including Zeinet, Telecom-Investments, Engineering Company Munaigaz, the company Tri (which operates the Miras banquet hall), the production cooperative Aspantau Auyly, and private companies Easytap Ltd., Onevision Limited, Atacom Holding Limited, Uvu International Ltd., Prosper Group Ltd., BPM Tracker Limited, CODE-FP Ltd., Luna Eight Ltd., and Aula Ltd. He also owns the public foundations Ana Uyi and the National Adoption Agency, as well as Club Zhenis Yachting and the public association Marina Club.
Svetlana Abdrakhmanova owns the company Universal Access (Almaty).
The founders of the National Adoption Agency and Ana Uyi foundations also include Aydin Rakhimbayev (ninth on the Forbes list with $1.1 billion) and Eduard Kim (52nd with $197 million).
