Kazakh singer Dequine has expressed her joy about the upcoming performance on the same stage as British band Gorillaz, reports infohub.kz.

In a published video, Danelya Sadykova, known under the pseudonym Dequine, spoke about her participation in the Park Live Almaty festival. She noted that she will be the only Kazakh artist to perform on the same day and stage as Gorillaz.

“I am proud to be the only Kazakh artist to share the same stage with them on the same day,” wrote Dequine.

Fans of the artist quickly reacted to the post. For some, Dequine's performance became an additional reason to buy a festival ticket. In the comments, they write: “Another reason to urgently look for a ticket, because I procrastinated and didn't get one,” “Well, who else if not her?”, “What time will Danelya perform? I want to know so I don't miss it,” “We need to go urgently.”

The organizers of Park Live Almaty recently revealed the full lineup. In addition to Gorillaz, The Offspring, and Jack White, the festival will feature CeeLo Green, De La Soul, The Kills, Glassjaw, and Bloodywood. The Kazakh stage will also be represented by DIRTY CTRL, PIGZ, Kezeñ, and “Porez na Sobake”.

Dequine is the stage name of Danelya Sadykova, a Kazakh singer and songwriter. In her work, she combines R&B, pop, and electronic sounds, having long become a notable figure in the Kazakh independent scene.

Recall that Park Live Almaty will take place from August 21 to 23 at Pervomayskiye Ponds. Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that a new mural dedicated to the British virtual band Gorillaz appeared in Almaty. The work adorned the facade of a residential complex.
