A craftswoman from Astana named Zhadyra has created an unusual gift for world-renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen — she knitted his portrait. A video of the process appeared on Instagram and instantly caught users' attention, reports infohub.kz.

Creating the portrait took the needlewoman a lot of time and patience. As Zhadyra herself admitted, the idea for the project came to her two years ago, and she nurtured it for a long time before starting. The work was painstaking and required high precision: the slightest mistake in counting stitches could ruin the entire pattern. At one point, she even wanted to unravel everything and start over, but found the strength to see it through.

In the video, Zhadyra shows the entire process, from the first rows to the finished work. The portrait is done in black and white and turned out so detailed that fans immediately noted its resemblance to the original.

The post showing the creation process quickly garnered 1.1 million views and over 112,000 likes. Netizens marvel at the girl's incredible skill, talent, and diligence. Many call the work a true masterpiece.

"I really hope Dimash appreciates it," "Wow! This is amazing work! How much effort and soul you put into it! Standing ovation, what patience and hard work!" "Dimash, look at this beauty!" "This is so beautiful," users write.

The craftswoman also appealed to the singer to accept the portrait as a gift. She admitted she would be very happy if Dimash agreed to take the work for himself.

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Kazakh performer Dimash Kudaibergen spoke out against men who raise their hands against women. He published the post on his Instagram page.
