Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen marked Miner's Day in an unusual way: after a massive concert in Karaganda that drew 250,000 spectators, he went to the Kostenko mine and descended 700 meters underground, reports infohub.kz.
The artist shared footage of the trip on his Instagram. In the video, he puts on a helmet and special uniform, then heads to the coal face with the miners.
"I went 700 meters underground and saw with my own eyes the conditions miners work in, how difficult and responsible their job is," the singer wrote.
He was also shown how the mine operates. Dimash personally spoke with the miners and congratulated them on their professional holiday.
"Huge respect to people of this profession. Your work deserves special honor!" the artist noted.
Dimash's followers supported his gesture. In the comments, they thank the singer for his attention to miners.
"You are an incredibly kind-hearted person, compassionate to everyone regardless of nationality or faith. You always do good deeds. May the universe give you strength in everything. You are the best of people, 100%."
