By decree of the head of state, Dmitry Malakhov has retained his post as Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, reports infohub.kz.
According to the official website of the Supreme Judicial Council, Dmitry Mikhailovich Malakhov has held this position since 2024, and his term has now been extended.
Dmitry Malakhov was born on August 27, 1974, in Kokshetau, Akmola Region. In 1995, he graduated from the Almaty Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in 2025, he graduated from the Ryskulov University of Economics and Finance with a degree in law and economics.
From 2004 to 2019, he held positions as deputy head of regional departments and departments of central bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Agency for Combating Economic and Corruption Crimes, and the National Bureau for Countering Corruption of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption.
In 2019–2020, he was head of the Operational Department of the Financial Monitoring Committee of the Ministry of Finance. From 2020 to 2022, he served as deputy chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency, and from 2022 to 2023, as first deputy chairman of that agency. In 2023–2024, he held the post of deputy chairman of the Financial Monitoring Agency, and in 2024, he was appointed chairman of the Financial Monitoring Agency.
