The weighted average dollar exchange rate on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has risen again, gaining 2 tenge over the day. The euro showed a similar increase. The current exchange rates at currency exchange offices across the country are reported by infohub.kz.

Since the beginning of the week, the dollar exchange rate in Kazakhstan has been gradually increasing. Yesterday it rose by more than 3 tenge, and today the growth continued. Following today's trading on KASE, the weighted average dollar rate stood at 464.77 tenge, up by 2 tenge.

At exchange offices in the country's major cities as of 15:30, according to the Kurs.kz portal, the following buy and sell rates for cash dollars were set: in Astana — buy at 460 tenge, sell at 467 tenge; in Almaty — buy from 458.9 to 464.8 tenge, sell from 465.3 to 467 tenge; in Shymkent — buy from 464 to 465 tenge, sell from 466 to 467 tenge.

The euro exchange rate also rose by 2 tenge. Its weighted average value as of 15:30 is 541.15 tenge. The following buy and sell rates for cash euros were set at exchange offices: in Astana — buy at 533 tenge, sell at 543 tenge; in Almaty — buy from 533.5 to 540.5 tenge, sell from 541.5 to 545 tenge; in Shymkent — buy from 535 to 540 tenge, sell from 540 to 545 tenge.

It is worth recalling that experts predict the average dollar rate in 2026 will be 490 tenge, and by 2028 it may rise to 562.2 tenge.
