On September 6, exchange offices in Almaty, Astana, and Shymkent set current average exchange rates for foreign currencies. The selling rate for the dollar in the three cities ranges from 457.65 to 460 tenge, reports infohub.kz.
In Almaty, the US currency is bought on average at 455.69 tenge and sold at 457.65 tenge. The euro is accepted at 528.14 tenge and sold at 532.76 tenge. The Russian ruble can be exchanged at 5.15 tenge for buying and 5.27 tenge for selling.
In the capital, the average dollar buying rate is 453 tenge, and the selling rate is 460 tenge. The euro is bought at 525 tenge and sold at 535.01 tenge. For the Russian ruble, the rates are 5 tenge and 5.27 tenge, respectively.
In Shymkent exchange offices, the dollar is accepted on average at 455.79 tenge. The selling rate for the US currency is 457.88 tenge. The euro can be exchanged at 528.71 tenge for buying and 533.48 tenge for selling. The average rate for the Russian ruble is 5.17 tenge for buying and 5.23 tenge for selling.
Among the three cities, the highest average dollar selling rate at the time of publication was recorded in Astana – 460 tenge. In Almaty, it is 457.65 tenge, and in Shymkent – 457.88 tenge. Exchange rates at currency exchange offices may change during the day.
