At the close of the trading week on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the dollar exchange rate showed a slight increase, ending the week as it began. Along with the American currency, the euro also rose slightly. Journalists from NUR.KZ found out the current exchange rates at exchange offices across the country, reports infohub.kz.

On Monday, the exchange rate of the dollar rose by 2 tenge, reaching 475.38 tenge, but over the next three days it gradually declined. Yesterday, its value was 467.48 tenge. Nevertheless, the trading week ended with a new increase.

Thus, following today's trading in foreign currencies on KASE, the weighted average dollar rate was 469.93 tenge, up by 2 tenge over the day.

Exchange offices in the country's major cities at 15:30 today, according to the Kurs.kz portal, set the following buying and selling rates for cash dollars:

Astana: buying – 467 tenge, selling – 474 tenge; Almaty: buying – from 465.3 to 470.8 tenge, selling – from 471 to 473 tenge; Shymkent: buying – from 469 to 470 tenge, selling – from 471 to 472 tenge.

The euro, meanwhile, rose by less than 1 tenge per day. Its weighted average value as of 15:30 today is 541.57 tenge.

The country's exchange offices set the following buying and selling rates for cash euros:

Astana: buying – 535 tenge, selling – 545 tenge; Almaty: buying – from 531 to 540 tenge, selling – from 540 to 546 tenge; Shymkent: buying – from 536 to 541 tenge, selling – from 542 to 545 tenge.
