In Pavlodar, drivers have been held accountable for driving through pedestrian areas in one of the city's parks, reports infohub.kz.

The Department of Police of Pavlodar region announced on its Instagram account that the traffic violation in Metallurgists Park was detected during social media monitoring after a video was posted on Instagram.

"The video shows a driver of a Kia K5 driving on a sidewalk intended for pedestrians. In addition, a similar violation was committed by a driver of a Gazelle van. The violators have been identified. The drivers have been held accountable for driving on pedestrian paths, roadsides, and sidewalks," said Zhandos Baikenov, commander of the patrol police battalion of Pavlodar city police department.

The police remind that parks and other public spaces are primarily intended for the safe recreation of citizens. Drivers must strictly comply with traffic rules and respect pedestrian safety.
