On July 17, a drone struck a tanker at the marine terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC). Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy said there is no threat to the country's oil exports, reports infohub.kz.
The ministry's press service specified that the attack targeted the empty tanker Nordic Zenith, which was en route to the port for loading. The crew quickly extinguished the fire, and no casualties were reported. The Ministry of Energy emphasized that the technological infrastructure of the CPC is operating normally, and cargo operations are proceeding according to schedule.
