Dubai authorities have launched a program under which residents of the emirate receive rewards for inviting tourists from any country, including Kazakhstan. The "Invite Dubai" initiative offers a reward package worth around $815 for each guest brought in, according to infohub.kz.
As reported by Vedomosti, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) announced the start of the program. Under its terms, "residents aged 18 or older with a valid Emirates ID register their friends' or relatives' details via an online form before their arrival. Guests must arrive in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026 — by air, sea, or road — and hold a valid tourist visa or be eligible for a visa on arrival."
After the visitor arrives, the system automatically confirms their entry, and within 72 hours the resident receives an email with a reward package. Each nominal package is valued at approximately $815 (over 380,000 tenge). The program does not handle visa processing — that responsibility lies with the guests themselves. The initiative aims to encourage residents to share their experiences of Dubai while rewarding them for promoting the city among their close contacts.
Euronews also reports that residents inviting friends and relatives can "receive bonuses including hotel stays, restaurant dinners, entertainment tickets, and more." Specifically, a 45% discount on accommodation at Meliá Desert Palm, free tickets to Aquaventure water park and IMG Worlds of Adventure, and buy-one-get-one deals at restaurants ULA, Asia Asia, and The 305 are available. It is noted that summer in the UAE is traditionally considered a low tourism season due to high temperatures.
Earlier, Air Astana suspended flights to Dubai until August 31 due to the deteriorating situation in the Strait of Hormuz and the region.
