Private Denis Mukhin, whose height approaches two meters, is performing compulsory military service in military unit 6506 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, stationed in Shymkent. According to the official Telegram channel of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the 19-year-old serviceman wears size 47 shoes, for which his fellow soldiers jokingly nicknamed him "Gulliver," reports infohub.kz.

The young man was called up for compulsory service from Almaty Region. Before conscription, he had graduated from Talgar Polytechnic College with a degree in auto electrician. Denis has been involved in sports since childhood—he devoted many years to volleyball. In his own opinion, his large size was inherited from his father: already in the ninth grade, the young man wore size 45 shoes.

The recruit's physique made itself known in the first days of service. At the training center, he had to wear sneakers issued by the military unit for several days while a suitable pair of boots was being found for him. Eventually, the clothing service managed to find shoes of the required size 47. Now the unusually large boots have become one of the most noticeable details of the guardsman's equipment.

Currently, the private patrols the streets of Shymkent daily, ensuring public order and the safety of residents and guests of the city. At the same time, Denis stands out among his fellow soldiers not only for his height. As noted by the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he has a good command of the Kazakh language and communicates freely in it during daily service. Today, passersby often notice the tall guardsman in uniform, and his fellow soldiers jokingly call him "Gulliver" among themselves.
