Ariela, the eldest daughter of rapper Dzhigan and Oksana Samoilova, gave an interview to Ksenia Sobchak in which she described the night her father walked around the house with an assault rifle and fired toward his security guards. According to the young woman, Dzhigan was under the influence of drugs at the time, and the house was filled with children, nannies, security personnel, and workers, infohub.kz reports.
Ariela said Dzhigan returned home around four in the morning and declared that the family was in danger. Later, he entered the room where six-year-old David was putting together puzzles, carrying an assault rifle.
"After a while, he comes into our room with the rifle. He started saying something. He began hallucinating. Davidik was in the room doing puzzles and saw [Dzhigan], he started asking why dad had a rifle. We told him there were burglars in the house and dad was protecting us," the interview quotes Ariela as saying.
The young woman claims her father fired toward the security guards, who ran away. Oksana Samoilova was abroad at the time. After learning what was happening from her daughter, she asked the nannies to hide the children.
In the interview, the blogger showed messages Ariela sent during the incident: "He locked us in. Mom, I beg you. He's going to shoot us" and "He will kill us. We have nowhere to hide. Mom, I love you so much."
"I was afraid he would kill me and mom. I hid and didn't come out," Ariela said.
She also recalled another incident when her father, according to her, pointed a shotgun at Samoilova. Ariela said she no longer wants to communicate with her father.
"It will be extremely unsafe now. I don't know what to do. No one can keep him in rehab by force, he could come at any moment — and then it's over, death. It would be easier for him to kill me. So I hope he completes his treatment," says Dzhigan's ex-wife.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that Samoilova had spoken about armed threats and gunfire in the house in 2022. Samoilova also claimed that the rapper threatened to inject her with poison. According to her, she stayed silent about what happened for a long time because Dzhigan is the father of her children.
