Russian rapper Denis Ustimenko-Vainshtein, known by his stage name Dzhigan, has responded for the first time to reports circulating about a shooting at his home in the Moscow region, according to infohub.kz.
According to the artist, media and social media reports about the incident are untrue. The rapper denies that he opened fire on staff at his home. He did confirm, however, that he is currently at a rehabilitation center.
"It's a provocation. Let them write whatever they want. I was filming a snippet, and the haters twisted everything," Denis said.
The rapper also addressed concerns that his stay in rehab could be used against him — up to and including the loss of parental rights. The artist reacted calmly to those suggestions.
"How can lies be used (against me — ed.)? Rehab isn't a bad thing. I'm in Israel, on holy land, I'm here to be spiritually replenished. Everything is fine with me," Dzhigan said.
It is worth noting that in the stories on his Instagram page, Dzhigan posted a photo a few hours ago, tagging an Israeli rehab account.
Recall that today the Telegram channel Mash reported that on the night of July 3-4, Dzhigan summoned the staff of his home and staged a confrontation with weapons in hand.
