In the East Kazakhstan region, a ceremony was held to honor police officers who showed courage and heroism in saving lives, as reported by infohub.kz.

According to the departmental Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Polisia.kz, at a regular session of the regional maslikhat, the region's akim, Nurymbet Saktaganov, presented certificates of honor to two police officers who distinguished themselves in saving human lives.

The high award was given to local police inspector of the Ulan district police department, Nurdaulet Tetepov, and forensic expert of the operational-criminalistic group, Aset Nagashbayev.

The incident occurred on August 20 in the village of Kasym Kaysenov. The police officers came to the aid of two workers who had lost consciousness while working in a sewer manhole. Thanks to the vigilance of police captain Aset Nagashbayev and the brave actions of police major Nurdaulet Tetepov, both citizens were rescued in time.

The akim of the region noted the heroism, professionalism of the police officers, and their readiness to always help, emphasizing the importance of such noble deeds and high civic responsibility.

Earlier it was reported that in the East Kazakhstan region, a forensic expert from the Ulan district, police captain Aset Nagashbayev, without hesitation, descended into a sewer manhole and saved two workers. The arriving police major Nurdaulet Tetepov immediately asked for a rope, secured it, and descended into the manhole.
