An EasyJet flight from the popular tourist destination of Tenerife, Spain, to Liverpool, UK, was forced to turn around mid-air due to a mass brawl onboard, reports infohub.kz.
According to Lenta.ru, roughly half an hour after takeoff, the crew decided to return to the departure airport because of unruly passengers who started a fight. Upon landing, police met the aircraft.
A commentator from Spain wrote on social media: "I am shocked by the number of planes leaving for or arriving from the UK that face such safety issues. What a shame."
The airline's representative confirmed the incident and stated that the company does not tolerate disruptive behavior towards its staff.
