The Pavlodar regional prosecutor's office conducted an inspection and uncovered that Ekibastuz GRES-2 had failed to pay over 640 million tenge in corporate income tax to the budget. This was reported by Kazinform, as cited on infohub.kz.
The supervisory authority stated: “Based on the supervisory order, appropriate collection measures were taken against the taxpayer, as a result of which GRES-2 has paid the specified CIT amount to the budget.”
The Prosecutor General's Office added that work in this direction continues.
