Buying an affordable Android smartphone shouldn't mean constantly battling lag and rapid battery drain. To ensure the device performs well in daily use, it's enough to check a few key specifications beforehand, according to infohub.kz.
As Engadget notes, the first things to focus on are the screen and RAM. The display should measure at least 5.6 inches diagonally, feature an AMOLED panel, and offer peak brightness of at least 1000 nits — this ensures comfortable use even under direct sunlight.
Experts recommend a minimum of 6 GB of RAM. With less, switching between apps and watching videos will slow down noticeably. For storage, it's better to choose versions with at least 128 GB, and ideally 256 GB or more.
Battery capacity should not fall below 4500 mAh, although 5000 mAh is becoming the standard for all-day use. For quality photos, the main camera should have at least a 32 MP sensor, and the front camera at least 12 MP.
Additionally, it's important to check for an NFC chip for contactless payments, a current Bluetooth version, and guaranteed system updates for several years ahead.
