American entrepreneur Elon Musk has become a trillionaire once again — his fortune had already reached the trillion-dollar mark earlier, according to infohub.kz.
The return to the status came after shares in his companies SpaceX and Tesla soared immediately after the stock market opened on Monday.
Tesla's third-quarter delivery figures beat analysts' forecasts. That gave Musk's wealth a boost: on Friday alone his fortune grew by $61 billion. On Monday morning Tesla shares continued to climb, adding another $30 billion.
Jeff Bezos ranks second on the list of the world's richest people, with a current fortune of $371.5 billion.
Musk is the first and only person ever to become a trillionaire. His wealth first topped $1 trillion in June of this year, but just 12 days later he lost the status.
