England's men's national football team cruised to a resounding away win over Croatia in their UEFA Nations League Group A3 matchday three clash for the 2026/27 season. The game was played at the Rijeka stadium in the city of the same name and ended 7-0 in favour of the visitors, according to infohub.kz.
Forwards Harry Kane (8th and 53rd minutes) and Bukayo Saka (45th and 68th) both scored twice. Midfielders Jude Bellingham (21st minute) and Morgan Rogers (87th), along with winger Anthony Gordon (39th), added one goal each.
The 0-7 defeat was the heaviest in Croatia's history. The previous record had stood for just over eight years — a 0-6 loss to Spain.
In the other match in the group, Spain beat Czechia 3-1 at the Carlos Tartiere stadium in Oviedo thanks to goals from forward Lamine Yamal (6th minute) and midfielders Rodri (35th) and Mikel Merino (89th).
The visitors' only goal came from defender Jiri Slama (69th minute). Late on, Czechia were reduced to ten men after fellow defender Ladislav Krejci was sent off (85th minute).
Spain have a maximum nine points and top Group A3. England follow with six points. Croatia sit third with three points, while Czechia are bottom of the table without a point.
