About two thousand police officers will maintain order during Enrique Iglesias's concert in Almaty, which will take place at the Central Stadium on Saturday, September 5. Law enforcement will be on heightened alert, according to infohub.kz.
Officers will be deployed both at the stadium and on adjacent streets. Entry for spectators will begin at 4:00 PM. The main entrances will be open from Abai Avenue and Baitursynov Street. VIP Standing ticket holders will have a separate entrance from Satpayev Street.
Organizers strongly advise arriving early and anticipating possible queues. Temporary traffic restrictions may be in place near the stadium, so it is best to plan your route in advance and, if possible, use public transport. The metro and surface transport will operate as usual.
After the concert, additional shuttle buses will run to several destinations: the airport, the Orbita neighborhood, Almaty-1 railway station, Raiymbek Avenue – Alatau Street, and the Almaty Arena.
All spectators will undergo security screening before entering the stadium. Visitors are asked to familiarize themselves with the event rules in advance and not to bring prohibited items. They must also comply with the instructions of police officers and stewards.
The Almaty city administration urges spectators to arrive at the stadium early to avoid crowds and not miss the start of the concert.
