Donskaya Oil Depot JSC, part of Eurasian Resources Group (ERG), has reported its financial results for 2025. The company managed to more than halve its net loss to KZT 51.5 million, compared with KZT 108.6 million a year earlier, according to infohub.kz.

Revenue from sales of goods, works, and services fell from KZT 853 million to KZT 394.8 million, a decrease of 53.7%. The cost of goods sold also dropped proportionally, from KZT 832.3 million to KZT 385.3 million. Gross profit declined from KZT 20.7 million to KZT 9.5 million.

The operating loss narrowed to KZT 63.5 million from KZT 72.6 million in the previous year. The improvement was driven by a significant reduction in selling expenses, which fell from KZT 31.3 million to KZT 10.9 million, while administrative costs remained flat at KZT 62.1 million. Financial income reached KZT 34 million, and financial expenses dropped to zero, compared with KZT 83.1 million in the prior period.

Donskaya Oil Depot was established in October 1995 and re-registered in January 2005. The company is based in Khromtau, Aktobe Region. It operates retail fuel sales through gas stations along the Samara–Shymkent highway (836 km), wholesale fuel sales from its depot, and provides services for unloading, storage, and dispensing of petroleum products.

The parent company is TNK Kazchrome, which holds 96.9% of Donskaya Oil Depot's common shares. The remaining 3.1% is owned by legal entities and individuals. Ultimate control lies with Eurasian Resources Group S.à r.l. (ERG), which is partially state-owned: the Government of Kazakhstan, through Samruk-Kazyna, holds a 40% stake in the group.

In June 2025, Aktobe Vestnik reported that gas station No. 1 of Donskaya Oil Depot in Khromtau had been closed for two months following an inspection by the State Revenue Department. During the inspection, fuel tanks were sealed and power to the pumps was cut off. The company estimated lost profits during the downtime at KZT 77 million and accused the inspectors of exceeding their authority. The Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs stated that the company's documents confirm the legality of its operations. The Khromtau District Prosecutor's Office said the materials were sent to the Anti-Corruption Service for a procedural decision.

Overall, ERG's revenue in 2025 fell to $6.2 billion, down 2.5% from 2024. The company posted a net profit of $0.22 billion after a loss of $1.01 billion in 2024.
