Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland has dramatically changed his look, getting a haircut ahead of the new English Premier League season, reports infohub.kz.
The footballer posted a video on Instagram showing off his new short crop, ditching his famous long locks. The clip went viral instantly, amassing over 5.2 million likes and more than 74 million views at the time of writing.
Haaland later showed his followers the process of saying goodbye to his recognizable mane. The post sparked a huge reaction, with thousands of fans and celebrities, including Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, leaving comments.
According to Championat, after the image change, Haaland had a video call with former City boss Pep Guardiola and ex-Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"You're lucky to have hair. I wish I had some," said Pep Guardiola.
"What nonsense are you doing? Did you lose a bet? Block me and delete my number! You'll be faster now, right?" reacted Ibrahimovic.
It's worth noting that during the 2026 World Cup, Ibrahimovic advised Haaland never to cut his hair, claiming that his strength lies in his locks.
