Nazym Kakharman, the ex-wife of former Kazakh Economy Minister Kuandyk Bisimbayev, has announced a new legal battle: her former mother-in-law has filed a financial claim against her for about 25 million tenge, reports infohub.kz.

In a series of Instagram videos, Kakharman said this is the fourth lawsuit filed against her by her ex-husband's family in the past two years. Meanwhile, she claims she has gone to court only once during that time, with a lawsuit to strip Bisimbayev of parental rights.

The main dispute, according to Kakharman, revolves around a business she has run since 2011. She explained that at the time, the property and premises were registered under Bisimbayev's mother's name, and the work was carried out under a trust management agreement.

"A trust management agreement is a huge trap. If you work this way with your husband's relatives, be aware that tomorrow they can lay claim to all the income you earned from the business," Kakharman warned her followers, recommending that they sign lease agreements even for a symbolic amount.

Additionally, the blogger believes the new lawsuit has negatively affected the relationship between her former mother-in-law and her grandchildren.

"The children were completely disillusioned after this lawsuit. It broke their hearts that she would do such a thing," she said.

According to Kakharman, previous lawsuits filed by her ex-husband were withdrawn by him during court hearings.

Kakharman also stated that she intends to file her own lawsuit. She plans to sue for alimony, claiming that payments have not been made in full.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that the names of the alleged mistresses of the convicted former minister Kuandyk Bisimbayev will appear in the pages of his ex-wife Nazym Kakharman's book. She mentioned this on social media, noting that the presentation will take place in the fall.
