In the coming days, rain is expected across most of Kazakhstan, but extreme heat of up to +44°C will return to the country's western regions, reports infohub.kz.
Meteorologists have issued a weather forecast for July 23-25. A northwestern cyclone moving across Kazakhstan will bring thunderstorms, and in some areas, heavy downpours and hail are possible over most of the country.
Fueled by cold air masses, the cyclone will cause a drop in temperatures. However, warm and dry air from Iran will begin to flow into the western regions.
According to Kazhydromet, this will lead to the cessation of precipitation and a temperature rise: daytime temperatures are expected to reach a scorching +34…+39°C, with extreme heat of +40…+44°C in some areas.
