During a football match at the Central Stadium in Almaty, a fan ran onto the field with a political party flag, disrupting public order. The incident occurred on July 27, 2026, reports infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the city police department, officers together with stadium security immediately stopped the unlawful actions. The offender was detained on the field and taken to the Bostandyk District Police Department.
An administrative case has been opened against the man under Article 434 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses (“Petty Hooliganism”). The collected materials will be sent to court for a decision.
Law enforcement reminded that any actions violating public order, regardless of motives, as well as attempts to use sports events for unauthorized actions are unacceptable and entail legal liability.
