FC Astana has published a new statement on its official Instagram account regarding the financial situation and addressed its fans, reports infohub.kz.
The seven-time champions of Kazakhstan had previously confirmed economic problems. Astana owed back wages to first-team players. The club assured that it would see the season through to the end.
"FC Astana announces that the acute financial issues that have recently affected the club's stable operations have been resolved," the new statement said.
The release noted that this became possible "thanks to the active involvement of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the club's founder, and the support of people who care about Astana's fate, its history, and the team's future."
"We sincerely thank everyone who stood by the club during this difficult period, showing responsibility, concern, and a willingness to help. FC Astana is a great story that unites many people for whom the club's success truly matters," the club emphasized.
Astana also expressed gratitude to the players, coaching staff, and employees. The club noted that the team continued to fulfill its professional duties and "worthily represent the capital and all of Kazakhstani football."

The most important part of the season lies ahead, and right now all our energy, attention, and strength are focused on football and achieving our goals. We thank everyone who was by the club's side during this period.
