A fire broke out at a recreation base in Aktau, covering an area of about 80 square meters, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of the Mangystau region, the fire occurred on July 19 at the Shahristan hotel complex, located near the Zolotoye Solnyshko recreation base. The fire involved the roof of a restaurant. No casualties were reported, rescue officials said.
"Upon receiving the report of the fire, police officers promptly arrived at the scene. Before the arrival of emergency services, police cordoned off the dangerous area, cleared the way for fire trucks, maintained public order, and took necessary measures to ensure citizen safety. Thanks to their coordinated and swift actions, a crowd in the danger zone was prevented and conditions were created for unimpeded work of rescue services," the department said.
