From August 26 to 28, the Aktobe region is hosting the operational-preventive operation "Boryshker," during which police officers identify citizens who have accumulated 10 or more administrative fines, reports infohub.kz.
According to the regional police department's press service, on the first day of the raids, 19 vehicles were sent to a specialized impound lot. Of these, 9 cars had foreign registration. The department ironically noted: "Apparently, someone decided to collect a set. However, instead of a certificate of achievement, they had to meet with police officers."
The geography of cars may vary, but the rule is the same: if you violate, you will have to answer regardless of the number and country of registration. The police emphasized: "Owners of vehicles with foreign plates should not relax either. The police are closely monitoring compliance with the law. So the principle is simple: a foreign number is not diplomatic immunity."
The work continues. Police officers reminded that it is better to pay fines on time, so that one day you don't have to look for your car at the impound lot.
