A court in Astana has brought administrative charges against a foreign streamer known by the pseudonym Fasoollka for provocative statements made during live broadcasts. She has been fined and barred from entering Kazakhstan for five years, reports infohub.kz.

According to the capital's police department, recordings of the broadcasts were identified during social media monitoring. In the streams, the streamer made remarks about the territorial integrity and state affiliation of Kazakh cities, as well as disparaging comments about Kazakh citizens, their culture, and traditions.

"The foreign citizen was brought to administrative responsibility by a court decision in the form of a fine. Measures have been taken for her departure from the country in accordance with the law. In line with legislation, she will be barred from entering Kazakhstan for five years," the Astana police department reported.

The police emphasized that foreign citizens during their stay in Kazakhstan are obliged to comply with the law and generally accepted norms of behavior.

Earlier, social media discussed statements by Russian streamers Fasoollka and kae4ka about Kazakhstan and Kazakhs. Users called for the bloggers to be held accountable, and regarding Fasoollka, attention was drawn to her claims about the territorial affiliation of Pavlodar and other provocative statements.
