In the Mangystau region, a foreign citizen was brought to administrative responsibility for attempting to illegally transport 95 liters of diesel fuel across the customs border, reports infohub.kz.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Mangystau regional courts, the Beyneu district court considered an administrative case against a foreigner under Article 545 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan (non-compliance with the procedure for applying prohibitions and restrictions when moving goods and vehicles across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union).
The court established that on July 9, 2026, during border control at the Tazhen customs post, a man traveling from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan attempted to illegally transport diesel fuel using an additional fuel tank with a volume of 95 liters, which was not provided for by the vehicle's factory design.
During the court session, the offender's guilt was fully confirmed by his own explanations, the administrative offense protocol, and case materials.
The sanction of Article 545 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides for an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 15 monthly calculation indices with confiscation of the goods that are the direct subject of the administrative offense.
By the court's decision, the foreigner was found guilty of committing an administrative offense and was sentenced to a fine of 64,875 tenge.
The court decision has already entered into legal force.
