In the village of Aktas in the Almaty region, a murder occurred: the victim was a 35-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan who worked at a local tandyr bakery and sold bread. According to the KTK TV channel website, the incident happened due to a sudden conflict, reports infohub.kz.

It turned out that the deceased had been living in Kazakhstan for the past five years and was engaged in baking and selling bread. Local residents speak of him exclusively positively: according to them, the man never got into quarrels, and on Fridays he even gave away bread for free.

According to the preliminary version, a verbal altercation occurred between the men, which quickly escalated into a fight. During the scuffle, the 56-year-old suspect grabbed a knife and inflicted a fatal wound.

Yernar Saidildin, official representative of the regional police department, said: "Police officers have opened a criminal case on the fact of murder. During operational-search activities, the 56-year-old suspect was identified, detained, and placed in a temporary detention facility. He has already confessed."
