Today, July 18, three new fire outbreaks were recorded on the territory of the state forest fund of Kazakhstan, according to the website infohub.kz.
According to the Ministry of Ecology, published on its Telegram channel, one forest fire occurred in the Akmola region, the second in the East Kazakhstan region, and the third in the Bayanauyl State National Natural Park in the Pavlodar region.
“To promptly detect and extinguish the fire sources, employees of the state forest protection, forces and resources of the state enterprise ‘Kazavialesookhrana’, and, if necessary, units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were deployed. Work to contain and completely extinguish the forest fires continues. The situation is under constant control,” the Ministry of Ecology said.
Due to the continued high fire danger in several regions of the country, Kazakh citizens are urged to strictly observe fire safety rules while in forests and nature, not to light fires in prohibited places, and to exercise maximum caution.
