Ahead of the new school year, the Aktobe Regional Children's Dental Clinic is experiencing a real rush: doctors see up to 200 young patients daily. In this regard, the health department reminds that planned and emergency dental care for children under 18 under the OSMS can also be obtained at other medical institutions in the city, reports infohub.kz.
As noted by the city administration, traditionally before the start of the school year, the demand for dental services at the children's clinic sharply increases. Mass preventive check-ups by schoolchildren and the need for treatment lead to a significant increase in the workload on doctors.
"Every day, more than 130 children receive therapeutic care here, and over 65 patients receive surgical care," the official statement says.
To avoid long waits in queues, parents are offered to seek dental care for children at other clinics that are official providers of the Social Health Insurance Fund. The list of such medical institutions includes: Diamond Dent LLP, BZ Holding LLP, Ai-Altyn LLP, Meda-Aktobe LLP, Medicus Ileck LLP, Orynbasarov Nurkhan Nartayevich LLP, TT and K LLP, Multidisciplinary Regional Children's Hospital (State Public Enterprise on the Right of Economic Management), Individual Entrepreneur ARUDENT, Aigul Clinic LLP, Amina and Ali LLP, Almash Life LLP, Medicus Center medical institution, and Aktobe Railway Hospital LLP.
The city administration also emphasized that for any questions related to dental care for children, one can contact the patient support service of the polyclinic or the deputy head of the health department for maternal and child health, Aigul Amanzholova.
Earlier, Kursiv reported on when to first take a child to the dentist and how to understand that the child already needs specialist help.
