Gennady Golovkin, President of World Boxing and head of Kazakhstan's National Olympic Committee, has been added to the database of the Ukrainian website Myrotvorets, reports infohub.kz.

The entry with Golovkin's data appeared on the site on Saturday, August 15. The reason cited for the inclusion is the World Boxing federation's lifting of restrictions on Russian athletes — boxers from Russia will be able to compete in international tournaments under their national symbols.

According to TASS, the controversial Myrotvorets website was created in 2014. It contains an illegally gathered database of personal data of people, including journalists, artists, and politicians, who visited Crimea, Donbas, or for any other reason drew the negative assessment of the resource's authors.

Recall that in November 2025, the World Boxing Congress was held in Rome, where Kazakhstani Gennady Golovkin was officially confirmed as president of the organization. And in July of this year, World Boxing, led by Golovkin, announced the lifting of restrictions on Russian boxers.
