The girl's body was found on June 29 in a men's restroom. According to her mother, the day before, Diana had given her gifts, taken her to a beauty salon, and bought concert tickets. After work, she planned to visit her brother, but at night she stopped answering calls.
Relatives claim that the body bore numerous bruises. Additionally, they say that 100,000 tenge went missing from her bag, and a gold chain from her neck. Diana's personal belongings were later found by relatives in a ravine and handed over to the investigator.
The family also refers to an alleged witness. According to relatives, a woman saw two cars and four young men near the restroom.
The police reported that a criminal case has been opened under the article "Incitement to Suicide."
"An investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident," the police said.
