MK Altyn Nan, a grain trading company owned by businessman Amirbek Kurbanov, also known as a grain magnate, ended 2025 with a net loss of 741.6 million tenge. The previous year, the company also operated at a loss, posting a loss of 229.6 million tenge, according to the company's financial statements... reports the website infohub.kz.
Kurbanov is known as a co-owner of the largest brewery in the Kostanay region, Arasan, and has been reported by media as a founder of Talchik Astyk LTD, which manages one of the largest grain elevators in Kazakhstan with a capacity of 209,200 tonnes of grain. According to analytical systems, Kurbanov is listed as a founder of 13 active companies.
The net loss of MK Altyn Nan for the year increased 3.2 times. At the same time, revenue from the sale of goods and services for 2025 increased 4.7 times – from 310.2 million to 1.42 billion tenge. However, the cost of sales exceeded revenue and amounted to 1.61 billion tenge (versus 221.1 million tenge in 2024), resulting in a gross loss of 186 million tenge (in 2024, gross profit was 89 million tenge).
The operating loss of the enterprise increased almost six times – from 97.9 million to 571.2 million tenge. Selling expenses increased from 55.9 million to 108.8 million tenge, and administrative expenses rose from 131.1 million to 276.4 million tenge. Financial expenses amounted to 258 million tenge (in 2024 – 72.9 million tenge), and financial income – 209 thousand tenge. Other income reached 185.2 million tenge versus 32.5 million tenge a year earlier, while other expenses increased from 91.9 million to 97.8 million tenge.
The company is registered in the village of Tyulkubas, Turkestan region, and specializes in wholesale trade of grain, seeds, and animal feed.
In 2025, the company was renamed from GrainTrading Company to MK Altyn Nan. Amid revenue growth, the company's staff almost doubled: in 2025, the average number of employees was 213 people versus 107 a year earlier.
