The management of Home Credit Bank received remuneration in the amount of 1.3 billion tenge for 2025, reports the website infohub.kz.
The bank's management board consisted of three people who left the bank at the end of December after a change of shareholders. On average, each of them received 439 million tenge for the year.
The total amount of all payments to members of the board of Home Credit Bank in 2025 amounted to 1.3 billion tenge. This amount includes salaries and all types of monetary incentives. Compared to the previous year, the remuneration to the bank's management increased fivefold: in 2024 it amounted to 293 million tenge.
The bank's board of directors included three people almost until the very end of 2025, as well as throughout 2024: the chairman of the board, a native of Bulgaria, Kiril Bachvarov, Kazakhstani Viktor Batrak, and a native of the Czech Republic, Zdenek Foukal.
On December 11, after the controlling stake in the bank was transferred to ForteBank, it was announced that Sholpan Nurumbet had become the new chairman of the board of Home Credit Bank. By the end of the year, the composition of the bank's board was completely changed. Instead of Bachvarov and Foukal, Dinara Akhatova, Gaukhar Masangalieva and Stanislav Tyan came to the bank.
Thus, given that the composition of the board did not change for most of the year, on average its members received 439 million tenge per year. This is equivalent to an income of 36.6 million tenge per month.
It should be noted that until mid-2025, Home Credit Bank belonged to employees of the Czech company PPF Financial Holdings and the company itself directly. One of the major shareholders was the company's top manager Jiri Šmejc. The owner of PPF is the family of Renata Kellnerova, the richest woman in the Czech Republic (her fortune is estimated at $19 billion).
In June, ForteBank reached a preliminary agreement to acquire 100% of Home Credit Bank shares. The deal was completed at the end of December.
