Honda Accord fans expected a notable update for the legendary sedan's 50th anniversary. However, the 2027 model year refresh is so modest that differences are hard to spot without a magnifying glass, reports infohub.kz.
Honda has unveiled the updated Accord for the Japanese market, but technically the car remains unchanged. Exterior changes include body-colored headlight trim, clear side reflectors instead of orange ones, and painted lower bumper and sill covers. On the top hybrid e:HEV Honda Sensing 360+ version, the grille and antenna fin are also body-colored. That's about it.
All Japanese market versions still come with a 2.0-liter hybrid powertrain with two electric motors and an eCVT transmission. However, foreign media believe this refresh is just an interim step. In the second half of 2027, Honda is expected to unveil an all-new Accord.
Once one of the most popular Japanese sedans in Kazakhstan, the Honda Accord now has 266 used cars listed on Kolesa.kz, compared to 10,900 Toyota Camry listings. Despite the difference, the Accord still holds a special reputation among enthusiasts who value handling, reliability, and that distinct Japanese character.
