A 15-year-old girl has been hospitalized in Astana after a car crashed into a vegetable boutique, reports infohub.kz.
User alt_ks__ posted on her Threads page about the accident on Bolekpaev Street in Astana. 'A white Hyundai crashed into the vegetable shop on Bolekpaev. I don't know the cause. I heard a loud noise, ran to look, and saw that... An ambulance arrived within three minutes,' the post said.
A correspondent requested information from the Astana Police Department, which confirmed the accident. 'Police identified the driver of the Hyundai Accent as an 18-year-old. Preliminary findings indicate that while driving on Bolekpaev Street, he lost control and crashed into a vegetable boutique. A 15-year-old girl inside the shop was injured and taken to a medical facility, where she is receiving necessary care,' the department said.
An investigation is underway, and a decision will be made based on its findings.
