Analysts at iSeeCars have compiled a ranking of cars with the best price-to-lifespan ratio. The list includes 25 models, many of which are officially available in Kazakhstan. The study was reported by GoBankingRates, according to infohub.kz.
The experts compared the average price of new cars with their projected lifespan. According to iSeeCars, the average car today lasts about 11 years. Models that can last longer received higher scores due to lower cost per year of ownership.
One of the best compact models is the Hyundai Elantra. According to iSeeCars, the sedan can last about 9.9 years. In Kazakhstan, the Elantra has been one of the most popular passenger cars for several years, widely used for personal purposes and in taxis.
Which models made it to the top
Among SUVs, the Honda CR-V stood out with a projected lifespan of about 13.9 years, making it one of the most cost-effective vehicles in the ranking regardless of class.
The Toyota Corolla also ranked among the most cost-effective compact cars, with an average lifespan of 11.3 years. Even higher is the hybrid Toyota Camry at about 13.2 years. Analysts believe the combination of reliability and fuel efficiency helped the model make the list.
