Renowned Soviet and Russian composer Igor Krutoy has shared footage from the opening of the New Wave 2026 music festival in Kazan on social media, reports infohub.kz.
Stars of the Russian show business and contestants arrived in the capital of Tatarstan. Krutoy showed how the festival's opening ceremony went.
"Yesterday we kicked off New Wave 2026 together! Kazan, you are incredible! Last night gave us a wealth of emotions: grand performances and a special energy that only our contest can create! But the real marathon is just beginning," he noted.
Krutoy wished the participants good luck. Fans of the maestro commented that they always look forward to the music festival with great anticipation. "I want to wish all our participants the most important thing - belief in yourself. May your performance become a whole story for the audience," the maestro wrote.
